Michael Devlyn
Michael is a family man, with a great legacy in family business. He is characterized for his holistic outlook, his drive for putting his ideas into action, critical thinking, and passion for sports. He represents the balance between business vision and the sensibility /creativity to carry it out.
With more than 30 years’ experience as a lawyer, Michael is a graduate from the prestigious Escuela Libre de Derecho. He holds an MBA, from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, and has completed various management courses at Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management, UCAL, Berkley, and in Family Business at IMD-OWP.
He currently serves as Chairman of DNG (Devlyn Next Gen) Holdings and Executive Board Member of Strategic Projects and Expansion of Devlyn Holdings, where he served as CEO for 5 years and VP of Retail for 10 more. He is also served as board member to Devlyn’s JV companies and independent director of other family businesses such as Grupo Roma, a construction materials and hardware retail company.
Michael continues to ignite new projects and collaborate as an external advisor to a number of Mexican companies. He also coaches for family businesses across industries to help them grow and preserve their legacy through generations, while promoting the economic development of the country.
