Eugenio Caballero
Eugenio Caballero is an art director and production designer. He has been nominated twice to the Academy Awards, getting an Oscar for the movie Pan’s Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro. This work gave him also the Art Director’s Guild Award, the Ariel award given by the Mexican Academy of Cinematography, The Los Angeles Film Critics Association award, the Gold Derby Award prize, the Online Film Critics Association’s award and got him nominations for Bafta, the Goya Award, the Satellite Award and the Las Vegas Film Critics Society Award.
He studied Art History and Cinema History in Florence and shortly after finishing his academic formation, he started his career doing short films and music videos for which he got several accolades, like the MTV Award. After that, he started doing long films as an assistant and decorator.
